The FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (FAO-RAP) and the Asia-Pacific Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (APRACA) jointly organized the Nepal Country Investment Round-table program. The event took place on Falgun 11, 2081 (February 23, 2025) in Kathmandu.
During the session on why and how investment in the agricultural sector is possible in Nepal in the coming days, Mr. Khem Bahadur Pathak, the Chairman of the Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation Ltd., shared his views.
Similarly, in the session on the demand for necessary investment in the agricultural value chain and the needs of farmers for the development of agriculture and agri-enterprises, Ms. Meena Pokhrel, the Acting General Manager of the Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation, presented a working paper.
The event was attended by various experts and key stakeholders from Nepal and abroad, along with representatives from relevant organizations.
