Driving Digital Transformation in Cooperatives: NACCFL's "e-Sewa Sangako Sahakari" Campaign Gains Momentum
To empower member institutions and foster a tech cooperative ecosystem, the Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation Ltd. (NACCFL) is rapidly rolling out its digital literacy and capacity-building campaign across the country.
Recently, impactful training sessions were successfully concluded across various districts of Koshi and Madhesh Provinces:
1. Biratnagar (Jestha 1): Brought together 42 representatives from 21 cooperatives of Morang and Sunsari. The session focused on adapting to the digital era, term insurance, entrepreneurship, and transparency. (Chaired by NACCFL Central Board Member Hari Basnet | Chief Guest: NACCFL Central Chairperson | Trainer: Bimala Giri, eSewa).
2. Lahan, Siraha (Jestha 11): Empowered Chairpersons and Managers from 24 Small Farmer Agricultural Cooperatives with core skills in digital literacy, institutional transparency, and cooperative commitments. (Chaired by Magen Kamait | Chief Trainers: NACCFL Chairperson & Bimala Puri, eSewa).
3. Janakpurdham (Jestha 12 - Today): Gathered 58 key leaders (Chairpersons and Managers) from 29 Small Farmer Cooperatives in the capital of Madhesh Province. The training thoroughly covered fintech integration through eSewa, term insurance, share management, and the proper utilization of credit (loans). (Chaired by Ramshwobhit Yadav | Chief Trainers: NACCFL Chairperson & Bimala Puri, eSewa).
