Description of project:
The projects aims to enhance living conditions of the rural population improved through enhanced access and affordability to rural energy solutions that are efficient, environment friendly and that address social justice.
Actual major services include following activities:
a) Selection of twenty potential local financial institutions (FI) for credit financing solar home systems (SHS)
b) Orientation to selected local FIs
c) Training of trainers for SHS marketing
d) Users’ awareness programs
e) Capacity enhancement of selected FIs on credit financing
f) Micro monitoring and follow-up
g) Facilitating linkage between solar companies and banks
Vendor financing model.
